  1. I can't attend the races with my guests. Can I reserve a table at the Members boxes and authorise my guests to sign the bill on my behalf?

  1. I can't attend the races with my guests. Can I reserve a table at the Members boxes and authorise my guests to sign the bill on my behalf?

    Members or their spouse must accompany their guests throughout the race meetings and guests cannot be authorised to sign on behalf of the Members.

    Member’s children aged 18-21 who have opted for racecourse signing rights may represent their parents in using the tables. Click here to see Optional Racecourse Signing Rights.

  3. How can I make a table reservation for the Members Boxes at the Racecourses?

    You may reserve a table on-course or via the Members Services Hotlines or via Members’ Mobile App starting from the first booking dates listed in the raceday booking schedule. Click here to see the raceday booking schedule.

    For on-course bookings, you may reserve a table at the booking counters during the opening hours of the Racecourses.

    For telephone bookings, please call the Members Services Hotlines for reservation, details as below:
    Voting Members: Please call 1816. Reservations are available starting from 11:00am.
    Owners: Please call 1815. Reservations are available starting from 9:00am.
    Members: Please call 1814. Reservations are available starting from 10:00am.

    For Members’ Mobile App bookings, you may reserve a table of designated boxes via the Members’ Mobile App.

  4. When is the deadline for cancelling a table reservation to avoid cancellation charges?

    For Voting Members Boxes, Owners Boxes, Members Boxes, Loges, Private Booths and cross-betting facilities, the latest cancellation time is by 3pm four days prior to the race meeting(except major race meetings).  Please call the Members Services Hotline for cancellation or cancel via Members’ Mobile App. Click here to see the Cancellations Cut-Off Date and Time.

  5. Is there a minimum charge for food and beverage consumption at the boxes?

    The minimum catering charge is not applicable to the Voting Members Boxes.

    For the Owners and Members Boxes, a minimum catering charge on a per table basis will be applied base on the table reserved. The minimum catering charge is used to offset the consumption of food and beverage. The minimum catering charge is $300 for a table for two, $600 for a table for four, $900 for a table for six, and so on (except major race meetings). For MB3 Members Box 3/F (Home Straight), Provincial, Topaz 7/F & Topaz 8/F, the minimum catering charges are HK$800 for a table of 4, HK$1,200 for a table of 6, and so on. (except major race meetings)

    For Happy Valley cross-betting facilities, the minimum charge is HK$500 for a table for four, HK$800 for a table for six, and so on (except major race meetings). For Members Box 3/F (Home Straight) during Happy Valley cross-betting, the minimum charge is HK$300 for a table for two, HK$600 for a table for four, and so on (except major race meetings).
