  1. What is Membership with Beijing Hong Kong Jockey Club Clubhouse (Mainland Membership)?

    Mainland Membership is a Membership with Beijing Hong Kong Jockey Club Clubhouse operated by Beijing Hong Kong Jockey Club Clubhouse Limited. Mainland Members are allowed to use certain Members’ facilities in Hong Kong under a reciprocal arrangement between the Club and Beijing Clubhouse.

  2. How do I apply for Mainland Individual Membership? How much are the entrance fees and what kind of benefits will I have?

    Interested persons may contact the Membership Administration Department of Beijing Clubhouse to obtain an application form.  Admission to Membership is at the absolute discretion of the Board of Directors of Beijing Clubhouse.

    Mainland Individual Members are required to pay an entrance fee currently at RMB600,000 for admission to Membership and a monthly subscription currently at RMB2,000 for continued enjoyment of Members’ facilities.  Entrance fees and monthly subscriptions are subject to review by the Board of Directors from time to time.  All fees and charges paid are not refundable. Effective from 1 January 2024

    Mainland Individual Members are entitled to the full access to Members’ facilities at Beijing Clubhouse.   Further, under a reciprocal arrangement with the Club, Mainland Individual Members can have access to designated facilities at the two racecourses in Hong Kong throughout the racing season, and use the facilities in the three Clubhouses in Hong Kong 36 days per calendar year (with up to 7 days per calendar month), except that there shall be no access to The Hilltop in The Valley on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays in Hong Kong. Individual Members, who are also eligible horse owners of HKJC, are entitled to additional usage of the facilities. The reciprocal arrangement may be revised from time to time.

  3. How can a corporation or organisation apply for Mainland Corporate Membership?

    By invitation only. Any corporation or organisation may write to the Membership Administration Department of Beijing Clubhouse to indicate its interest in becoming a Mainland Corporate Member, and may be required to submit supporting information and documents for consideration. Whether an invitation to Membership will be extended is at the absolute discretion of the Board of Directors of Beijing Clubhouse. The Board of Directors will generally consider factors including the entity’s business nature, operation scale, financial standings, business turnover, and other factors as they think fit.

  4. How much are the entrance fees and monthly subscriptions and what kind of benefits will a Mainland Corporate Member enjoy?

    Mainland Corporate Members are required to pay a one-off entrance fee for admission to Membership and monthly subscriptions for continued enjoyment of Members’ privileges and facilities.
