  2. When is the best time to visit Hong Kong racecourses? When do races usually take place in Sha Tin Racecourse and Happy Valley Racecourse?

    Most races take place on Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays. Wednesday night races are generally held at Happy Valley Racecourse and Saturday/Sunday day races are mostly hosted at Sha Tin Racecourse.

  3. Are the racecourses open to persons under the age of 18?

    No, you must be 18 or above to enter the racecourses.

  4. Where can I purchase a Tourist Badge? Is a Tourist Badge necessary to enter the racecourses?

    Badges can be purchased on race days at a designated counter in the Members' Main Entrance of the racecourse.
    Alternatively, Tourist Badges are also available 10 days before each race meeting at designated Off-course Betting Branches.

  5. May I take photos at the racecourses?

    Yes, you may.

  6. Can I take photos with the horses?

    You can take pictures with the horses within the Parade Ring areas on race days.
