    • Mark Six: Current Draw, Multiple Draw, Advanced Snowball Draw, Quick-pick and self-selected tickets.
    • Racing: Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Trio, Tierce, First Four, Triple Trio Quick-pick and self-selected bets.
    • Football: Home-Away-Draw, Handicap Home-Away-Draw, First Half Home-Away-Draw, HiLo, Correct Score, Next Team to Score, Total Goals, HaFu, Odd/Even, First Team to Score, Handicap.
    • Instant Funds Transfer: Deposit, Withdrawal, Nominated bank account balance enquiry.
    • SMS – Bet Reference Record: Allow customers to receive SMS reply for the bets placed through 1886 for ease of reference.

    1886 will be available at all times except during the two hours in the morning for system maintenance.

  3. What is the difference between "Single Betting" and "Express Betting"?

    Both betting modes are available in Mark Six Quick-picks and Triple Trio Quick-picks.

    • Single Betting: 1886 system will first echo the randomly generated Quick-pick tickets before asking for confirmation. Customers may request 1886 system to re-generate the tickets before confirmation.
    • Express Betting: Customers can purchase randomly generated Quick-pick tickets from a minimum of 3 bets to a maximum of 20 bets in one instruction. 1886 system will echo the accepted bet details and total investment after customers have confirmed the Quick-pick combinations, number of bets, and expected total investment, then provide an option of listening to the confirmed bet details, aiming to speed up the bet placing process.

  4. What is "Current Race" in Racing?

    • This is a short-cut in 1886 system aiming to shorten the racing bet placing time during race meetings.
    • The "Current Race" menu will be offered in 30 minutes before Race 1 starts. Customers may press "1" after account access to select the self-selected pool types in the upcoming race.

  5. Does 1886 provide All-up?

    1886 does not provide All-up services at this moment.

  6. Is odds enquiry service available while placing Football bet?

    System will provide relevant odds for reference after customers have inputted the match codes and pool types.

  7. Does 1886 offer In-Play betting in Football?

    1886 offers In-Play betting for Home-Away-Draw, HiLo, Correct Score, and Next Team to Score.

  8. What is "SMS - Bet Reference Record"?

    This service allows customers to receive SMS at designated mobile number for the bets placed through 1886 for ease of reference. 

    Remarks:
    1) The SMS will be sent out with number "9339 1886".

    2) Customers need to register the service in advance.

    3) Customers can choose either Chinese or English as dislpay language.

  9. Is there any charge for the "SMS - Bet Reference Record"?

    For each other request of "SMS - Bet Reference Record", a service fee of $1 to cover the charges imposed by service providers will be deducted from customers' betting accounts irrespective of number of bets placed in the call to 1886.

  10. After registration, will customers receive SMS every time after placing bet in 1886?

    There are two SMS receiving modes for customers to choose from:

    1. "Auto Receive":  System will automatically send out SMS after customers have successfully placed bet in 1886.
    2. "Per Request":  System will ask customers whether they would like to receive SMS every time they have successfully placed bets in 1886. If customers choose not to receive, such information will not be able to be retrieved through "re-send" function.

  11. Can customers request 1886 to re-send the SMS? If so, are there any restrictions?

    Customers may request 1886 system to re-send the latest SMS within 30 days, and this re-sent SMS will be free of charge.
